The Vision Resource Center (VRC) is a nonprofit organization that has served adults and youth with visual impairments in Cumberland County since 1936. The VRC’s mission is to provide a centralized space for socialization, independent living skills training, civic engagement, health programs, and recreational activities. Many individuals with visual impairments face social, economic, and vocational isolation, and the VRC works to remove those barriers by offering accessible, comprehensive services in one place.

(September 2025 - Present)

As the Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist and Program Coordinator at the Vision Resource Center, I coordinate community programs, outreach initiatives, events, and partnerships that support adults and youth who are blind or visually impaired. My role includes organizing accessible activities and educational programs, managing communications and social media, creating graphic design and digital marketing materials, strengthening community relationships, supporting fundraising and awareness campaigns, and helping create inclusive experiences that promote independence, connection, and quality of life for our members.
